At 10 full seats, ten Cursor Teams Premium seats at $30 each cost less than Devin Teams at $480/month ($80 base plus 10 seats at $40 each), before third-party model usage. Devin’s flex seats, which have no separate limit, can narrow the gap for teams with many occasional contributors.
Model Access
- Cursor Teams seats include Cursor models (Grok 4.7, Grok 4.6, Grok 4.5, Composer 2.5) with team governance. Claude, GPT and Gemini are available at API list price, billed from the team’s prepaid credit.
- Devin Teams provides SWE-2 model access plus premium third-party frontier models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, and SpaceXAI) and open-source models such as Kimi K2.5, which makes the quota last longer. No BYOK option is listed for the Teams tier.
The difference is billing. Devin Teams includes Claude, GPT, Gemini and SpaceXAI in the seat quota, alongside its SWE-2 model. Cursor Teams includes only Cursor’s own models in the seat price and bills third-party models from prepaid credit at API list price.
Usage Limits
- Cursor Teams: Each seat has a weekly pool for Cursor models, with Super seats getting a larger one. Spend limits for third-party model usage are configurable by admins.
- Devin Teams: Each full seat carries its own daily and weekly quota across Devin Desktop, Devin Cloud, and Devin CLI. Flex seats draw entirely from the team’s shared pool of on-demand credits and do not include Devin Desktop.
Cursor Teams’ pool plus spend controls is well-suited for engineering managers who want to monitor and cap per-developer AI spend. Devin Teams’ per-seat quota with pooled flex credits suits teams that want dedicated capacity for core developers and shared overflow for occasional contributors.
